Why Choose MBS.Tech?

MBS.Tech is a nationally recognized cybersecurity education organization led by Miranda Stanfield, a federal cyber leader and educator.

We specialize in introducing underrepresented youth to real-world tech and cybersecurity careers through engaging, hands-on programs that build skills, confidence, and community.

Hacker Mode: Activated

This camper proudly displays the skills they gained while learning to navigate the command line and uncover hidden files — a key step in understanding how real cybersecurity professionals think and work. Through hands-on exploration of the terminal, students learn that cybersecurity isn’t just about tools — it’s about curiosity, logic, and problem-solving.

Our “Safe or Unsafe?” activity helps students build smart online habits by learning how to recognize safe versus unsafe websites, apps, and online behavior. Using real-world examples and student-led discussion, campers explore how to spot things like fake links, suspicious pop-ups, and privacy risks. It’s a fun, hands-on way to teach digital safety and empower students to make confident choices every time they go online.

Safe or Unsafe?

As a final reflection activity, students create posters to showcase what they learned during the camp. From cybersecurity tips and digital safety practices to teamwork, ethics, and career exploration, these student-made posters highlight key takeaways in their own words. It’s a creative way for campers to celebrate their progress, share their favorite moments, and show how much they’ve grown in just one week.
